Some Eastern thoughts
reveal this philosophy that marriage is not just an establishment of a
relationship between two persons; rather it is the merger of two families as
well. Our social system has unveiled this reality. This merger of two families
is very demanding on both sides in order to achieve their standards of choice
in selecting daughter in law or son in law, especially in Eastern countries
like Pakistan where there is a good diversity of regions and traditions among
people.
